What Changed When It Was Gone?

The habit becomes visible when it’s missing.

Yesterday’s challenge was to remove one distraction completely for the day.

Simple idea. Not always easy to follow through on.

Some of you took that in different directions. Russell, for example, shifted it toward food and focused on temperance instead of mindless grazing. Same principle. Removing what pulls you without thinking.

That’s really the point of this.

When something’s always there, you don’t notice it.

Once it’s gone, you start to see what it was actually doing to you. How often you reached for it. How automatic it felt. How much space it was quietly taking up. And sometimes, what replaces it.

More presence.

More awareness.

Or just a clearer look at your own habits.

Now let’s hear it. For those of you who took on the challenge, and for those of you thinking about it now, this is your moment to reflect.

💬 What did you realize when it was gone?

What kept pulling you back toward it?

What felt different without it there?

Did anything surprise you?

Drop your reflection and let us know what you saw.

Stay steady. ⚔️
