  • What Are You Tolerating?

    Good day, Stoics. 🫡

What are you tolerating that you shouldn’t be?

    A habit.

    A situation.

    A standard you’ve quietly lowered.

Sometimes we don’t solve problems because we slowly get used to them.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • Where Are You Making Things Harder?

Good day, Stoics. 🫡💬 Where are you making things harder than they need to be?

Sometimes the obstacle isn’t the thing itself.

It’s everything we pile on top of it.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • What Is Taking Up Too Much Space?

Good day, Stoics. 🫡💬 What is taking up more space in your mind than it deserves?

Maybe it’s a conversation. A mistake. Something that hasn’t even happened yet.

It’s interesting how some things stay with us long after they stop being useful. We replay them, revisit them, carry them around, and give them attention they haven’t earned. Meanwhile, the things that actually deserve our focus often get pushed aside.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • June Starts With One Honest Question

    Good day, Stoics. 🫡

For June, we’re doing something different.

    One question each day.

Nothing complicated. Just something to think about honestly and discuss together.

    So let’s start here.

💬 What are you avoiding right now?

    Could be a conversation.

    A decision.

    A responsibility.

A change you know needs to happen.

Sometimes the thing we keep circling around mentally is the exact thing that needs to be faced directly.

I’ll drop my own answer in the comments too.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • Just Another Stoic

Good day, Stoics. 🫡Today marks the end of our month of Daily Anchors.

    Thirty days. Thirty reminders.

Some were simple. Some hit harder than others. But hopefully each one gave us something to come back to during the day.

As I’ve read through the comments this month, one thing has become very clear to me:Many of the most valuable insights haven’t come from the posts themselves.

They’ve come from all of you.

The thoughtfulness. The honesty. The experiences being shared.

I’ve found myself reading many of the responses and thinking, “

    That’s a perspective I hadn’t considered.

I’ve never wanted to be a guru, a teacher, or someone standing above the group.

I’ve always wanted to be exactly what I’ve called myself from the beginning:Just another Stoic.

So for June, we’re going to try something new.

Instead of a Daily Anchor, we’ll have a Daily Question.

    One question each day.

Something for all of us to think about, discuss, and answer together.

    I’ll be answering them too.

Not as the guy with the answers.

Just as another Stoic working through the same questions alongside you.

Before we turn the page to June, I’d love to hear one more thing:What was your favorite Daily Anchor from May?

  • Attention Is the Real Asset

Good day, Stoics. 🫡Protect your attention.

People talk a lot about protecting their time.

Attention might be even more important.

You can have an hour available and still get nothing meaningful done if your attention is scattered across ten different things.

Every day, something is competing for it.

News. Notifications. Opinions. Problems that aren’t even yours.

I’ve learned that attention gets spent much more easily than it gets recovered.

Once it’s gone, the day tends to follow it.

Be careful what you give it to.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • Consistency Compounds Quietly

Good day, Stoics. 🫡Consistency compounds quietly.

Most meaningful progress doesn’t look dramatic while it’s happening.

It looks repetitive. Ordinary. Sometimes even boring.

A few good choices repeated long enough start changing things underneath the surface before you fully notice it.

I’ve noticed people often underestimate what steady effort does over time because each individual day feels too small to matter.

But that’s usually how it works.

    Not through one huge moment.

    Through repetition.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • Detach From Outcomes

Good day, Stoics. 🫡Detach from outcomes.

    Not because outcomes don’t matter.

Because they were never fully yours to control.

You can prepare well, put in real effort, say the right thing, make the smart move… and still not get the result you wanted.

    That part frustrates people.

I find that a lot of stress comes from gripping the outcome too tightly. Needing things to unfold a specific way.

But effort and outcomes have never been the same thing.

    One is yours.

    One never completely was.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • One Slip Doesn’t Change Everything

Good day, Stoics. 🫡Stay steady, not perfect.

People fall apart over small slips all the time.

One missed workout. One bad day. One moment where things didn’t go the way they planned.

    Then the mind starts talking.

“Well, I already messed it up.

“I’ve found that perfection has a strange way of making people quit. If the standard becomes flawless execution, every mistake starts feeling bigger than it is.

    Steady works differently.

    Steady adjusts.

    Steady keeps moving.

And over time, steady usually wins.

    Stay steady. ⚔️

  • Your Habits Are Your Baseline

Good day, Stoics. 🫡Your habits are your baseline.

People usually think they rise to the occasion.

    Sometimes they do.

But most of the time, they fall back on what they repeatedly do.

    Not intentions. Not motivation.

    Habits.

I find that small things done often start feeling invisible after a while. You stop noticing them because they become normal.

But that’s exactly what makes them powerful.

The quiet things you repeat eventually become the floor you stand on.

    Stay steady. ⚔️
