What Have You Mistaken For Urgency?

Good day, Stoics. 🫡💬 What have you mistaken for urgency?

Not everything that feels urgent actually is.

A notification.

An email.

A disagreement.

The pressure to respond immediately.

The feeling that if we don’t act right now, something terrible will happen.

Sometimes urgency comes from the situation.

Other times, it comes from our own mind.

The Stoics encouraged us to pause before reacting, not because every decision should be slow, but because clarity is rarely found in panic.

Looking back over the past week or two, where have you mistaken something for urgency that really wasn’t?

Stay steady. ⚔️
