Good day, Stoics. 🫡💬 What problem are you solving that doesn’t exist yet?
The mind is interesting like that.
Sometimes it tries to protect us by running ahead into the future, creating scenarios, preparing responses, rehearsing outcomes, and trying to solve things before they’ve even happened.
Occasionally that’s useful.
A lot of times, it just creates unnecessary weight.
I’ve noticed that many of the things we stress over never actually arrive the way we imagine them. Yet we still spent real energy carrying them.
Preparation has its place. But so does recognizing when we’ve drifted from preparation into worry.
Where has this been showing up for you lately?
Stay steady. ⚔️
